Location: The Learning Experience - Newark, DE
Pay: $40,000-$45,000 per year
Schedule: Full-Time, Rotating Shift Between 6:30 AM-6:30 PM
- Support daily center operations and administrative functions
- Partner with the Center Director to maintain compliance with Delaware childcare licensing requirements
- Assist with staff scheduling, classroom coverage, and ratio management
- Help lead enrollment tours and guide prospective families through the enrollment process
- Support tuition processing, enrollment documentation, and student record accuracy
- Maintain licensing files, regulatory paperwork, and operational documentation
- Provide leadership presence during opening and closing shifts as scheduled
- Support teacher development through coaching, communication, and ongoing guidance
- Help ensure classrooms maintain quality standards, operational consistency, and regulatory compliance
- Build positive relationships with families, children, and staff members
- Assist with community outreach, enrollment initiatives, and family retention efforts
- Director qualified under Delaware childcare licensing standards, or actively working toward qualification
- Prior childcare center leadership, administrative, or management experience preferred
- Experience in enrollment, customer service, admissions, or family engagement strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable providing leadership support across all areas of center operations
- Ability to work rotating shifts between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM
- Must meet all Delaware childcare licensing and background requirements
