Hiring for Ages 2–3
- Lead a classroom of children ages 2–3 using our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®
- Create a safe, nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
- Foster children's social, emotional, language, and cognitive development through hands-on learning
- Coach and mentor assistant teachers while maintaining a positive classroom culture
- Manage daily classroom routines, transitions, and activities
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families about their child's growth and development
- Maintain licensing, health, and safety standards at all times
- 1–2 years of experience as a lead or assistant teacher in a childcare, daycare, or early childhood setting
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or higher) is REQUIRED, OR currently enrolled in an approved Early Childhood Education Study Plan that meets NYC Article 47 requirements.
- Must meet NYC Article 47 qualifications to lead a classroom serving children ages 2–3
- Strong knowledge of child development and Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP)
- Excellent classroom management and leadership skills
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
