About the Role:
The Learning Experience #383 in Greeley, CO is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher at the Level 2 PDIS to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment aligned with licensing and PDIS Level 2 standards
- Build strong, trusting relationships with infants through responsive caregiving and positive interactions
- Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's daily progress, milestones, and needs
- Observe, document, and track infant development using appropriate assessment tools
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols including diapering, feeding, and sleep routines
- Collaborate with lead teachers and center staff to ensure a cohesive, high-quality learning environment
Requirements:
- Must meet Colorado PDIS Level 2 qualifications or higher
- Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early childhood setting preferred
- Knowledge of infant developmental milestones and best practices in early childhood education
- Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Must pass required background checks per Colorado childcare licensing regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with families
- Patient, compassionate, and dedicated to providing high-quality infant care
