Pay: $54,000–$58,000 per year
Schedule: Full-Time
- Support the Center Director with the day-to-day management of the center
- Coach and mentor teachers through classroom observations and ongoing professional development
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and staff engagement
- Maintain compliance with Maryland Office of Child Care (OCC) licensing regulations
- Support implementation of The Learning Experience's curriculum and classroom quality standards
- Conduct tours for prospective families and help increase enrollment
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members
- Assist with center administration, licensing documentation, staffing, and operational organization
- Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and outstanding customer service
- Must meet Maryland Office of Child Care qualifications for an Assistant Director (Senior Staff Member) in a licensed childcare center
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
- Coursework in Early Childhood Education and child development preferred
- Minimum of 1–2 years of leadership experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Knowledge of Maryland childcare licensing regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for early childhood education and developing high-performing teams
