Lead Preschool Teacher
Location: The Learning Experience – Dedham, MA
Pay: $22–$23 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Lead Preschool Teacher – School Readiness Program

The Learning Experience – Dedham is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to guide a classroom of preschool-aged children as they prepare for kindergarten. We're looking for an educator who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences, mentoring fellow teachers, and helping children develop the confidence and skills they'll carry into elementary school.

As the Lead Teacher, you'll oversee classroom instruction while fostering a positive, nurturing environment where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily classroom instruction for preschool-aged children

  • Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum

  • Promote early literacy, math readiness, science exploration, and social-emotional development

  • Create a structured, organized, and welcoming classroom environment

  • Mentor and support Assistant Teachers to ensure classroom consistency and quality

  • Observe children's progress and communicate regularly with families

  • Maintain compliance with Massachusetts EEC regulations and all health and safety requirements

  • Partner with center leadership to uphold the highest standards of early childhood education

Qualifications

  • Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher Certification required

  • Previous experience leading a preschool classroom preferred

  • Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices

  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and leadership skills

  • Passion for early childhood education and kindergarten readiness

  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred
