About the Role:
The Learning Experience #294 in Rock Hill, SC is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, loving care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedules
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
- Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Child Development Associate (CDA) or early childhood education coursework preferred
- Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare or early education setting
- Strong understanding of infant developmental milestones and best practices
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with South Carolina state requirements
- Warm, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for early childhood education
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
