- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for two-year-old children
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages early childhood development
- Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and growth
- Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom
- Follow all state licensing regulations and childcare health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support overall program goals
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA, associate's, or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of toddler developmental milestones and age-appropriate teaching strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to meet the physical demands of working with two-year-olds, including lifting and active engagement
- Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Patient, energetic, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for early childhood education
