Full job description
The Learning Experience Fitchburg is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic After School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children by providing them with a fun and safe environment to learn and grow. You will be working closely with our Program Director to deliver a high-quality experience for our students.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with children in a positive and engaging manner
- Implement TLE's curriculum and activities in collaboration with the Director
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available to work afternoons during the school year and a combination of full day shifts on no school days
- CPR and First Aid + additional required certification (or willingness to obtain)
Hours:
- School Year: 12 PM - 5:45 PM
- Scheduled No School Days: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Type: Part-time
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
