Pay: $25–$26 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Start Date: Needed by September 10
- Plan and lead engaging music experiences for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Introduce children to rhythm, melody, movement, and age-appropriate musical concepts
- Incorporate singing, dancing, instruments, and creative movement into lessons
- Adapt activities for different ages and developmental stages
- Create a fun, energetic environment that encourages participation and self-expression
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to incorporate music into children's learning experiences
- Help prepare children for school celebrations, performances, and special events as needed
- Maintain instruments and music materials in a clean and organized learning environment
- Follow all applicable New York City childcare health, safety, and licensing requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
- Musical background and ability to confidently lead songs and music activities required
- Previous experience teaching music or working with young children preferred
- Preschool, childcare, enrichment program, camp, or children's music experience is a plus
- Energetic, creative, dependable, and comfortable engaging groups of young children
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Must meet applicable New York City childcare licensing requirements
