Preschool Center Director – Early Childhood Education
Salary: $60,000 per year
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- Lead the daily operations of the childcare center
- Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and retain high-quality teachers
- Build a positive, accountable, and supportive team culture
- Manage staffing and scheduling while maintaining required classroom ratios
- Ensure compliance with Wisconsin childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
- Monitor classroom quality and support implementation of The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Conduct center tours and build relationships with prospective families
- Drive enrollment growth, family retention, and overall satisfaction
- Address family questions and concerns professionally and proactively
- Support community outreach and local enrollment events
- Manage administrative responsibilities, staffing, payroll processes, and center documentation
- Partner with ownership to achieve operational and financial goals

Childcare or preschool leadership/management experience required
- Experience in a licensed daycare, preschool, or early childhood education program
- Strong knowledge of childcare center operations and licensing requirements
- Experience recruiting, coaching, and developing teaching teams
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with enrollment, family tours, and retention preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Business, or related field preferred
- Must meet applicable Wisconsin licensing requirements for Center Director
