Early Childhood Teacher – 2-Year-Old Classroom
Location: The Learning Experience – Canton, MI
Pay: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Canton is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for our 2-Year-Old (Prepper) classroom.
This is an exciting stage when children are rapidly developing language, independence, confidence, and early friendships. You'll create a nurturing and structured environment that gives children plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and develop new skills.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily activities and routines for our 2-Year-Old classroom
- Create developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences
- Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence and emerging self-help skills
- Guide meals, toileting readiness, rest time, play, and transitions
- Provide positive guidance and attentive supervision
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred
- Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds is a plus
- CDA or ECE coursework preferred
- Patient, energetic, dependable, and nurturing
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
