- Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
- Maintain active supervision and required teacher-to-child ratios
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Implement our L.E.A.P. curriculum and daily classroom routines
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Contribute to a positive and respectful team culture
- Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation
- Experience working with toddlers ages 12–36 months
- Colorado Shines PDIS Credential 3.0 Level 2 or higher
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- EQIT preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- CDA or qualifying Early Childhood Education coursework
- Working knowledge of childcare licensing, health, and safety standards
- Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, including lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs as needed for the care and safety of children, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to successfully complete all state-required background screening requirements
- Ability to meet Colorado childcare licensing requirements
