- Provide direct, nurturing care for infants ages six weeks to approximately 17 months.
- Maintain HHSC required staff to child ratios and safe sleep practices at all times.
- Track feeding, diapering, and nap schedules and communicate consistently with parents.
- Provide daily digital updates to parents using the center's parent communication platform.
- Create a calm, structured, and developmentally appropriate routine for each child.
- Partner with the Center Director to maintain classroom compliance and prepare for inspections.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment at all times.
- Are 21 years of age or older, preferred.
- Hold a CDA credential with an infant/toddler endorsement, or equivalent early childhood education coursework, or are willing to obtain one within a defined timeframe.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of proven, consistent hands on infant care experience required, 3 years preferred.
- Hold current CPR and pediatric First Aid certification, required.
- Can pass a background check and reference checks per agency requirements.
