About the Role:

The Learning Experience #474 in Rosenberg, TX is looking for an enthusiastic and caring After School Program team member to join our growing family! Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in structured after-school activities, homework help, and enrichment programs
Plan and implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians during pick-up and drop-off
Monitor student behavior and enforce positive discipline strategies
Support children with homework assignments and academic reinforcement
Collaborate with fellow staff to ensure smooth daily program operations

Requirements:

Experience working with school-age children in a childcare, education, or camp setting preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a patient, positive, and nurturing demeanor with children
Must pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
