Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Qualification: Infant/Toddler Teacher qualified
- Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Toddler classroom
- Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create age-appropriate activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, and exploration
- Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence and developing self-help skills
- Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
- Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
- Observe developmental progress and maintain required documentation
- Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership
- Follow Maryland childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
- Must meet Maryland requirements to serve as a qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous professional toddler, daycare, childcare, or early childhood experience preferred
- Experience working specifically with infants or toddlers is a plus
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus
- Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented
- Ability to meet all applicable Maryland childcare licensing requirements
