• Lead daily classroom activities and implement our proprietary curriculum in an engaging and developmentally appropriate manner.
• Plan and provide age-appropriate learning experiences that support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to learn.
• Establish consistent classroom routines and provide positive guidance and redirection when needed.
• Maintain active supervision of children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and quality standards, as well as applicable state licensing requirements.
• Maintain accurate classroom records, attendance, and required documentation.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and families regarding their child’s daily experiences, development, accomplishments, and milestones.
• Build positive relationships with families and help create a strong connection between home and school.
• Work collaboratively with Assistant Teachers and other team members to provide consistent, high-quality care and education.
• Support and mentor Assistant Teachers by modeling positive classroom practices and teamwork.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, professional development, and other center activities.
• Use creativity, enthusiasm, and our engaging characters to make learning fun and meaningful for children.

• Has a high school diploma or GED; early childhood education coursework or a degree is preferred.
• Meets all applicable state licensing requirements for a Lead Childcare Teacher.

• Previous experience as a Lead Teacher, Preschool Teacher, Childcare Teacher, or Assistant Teacher.
• Experience creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Early childhood education coursework or credentials.
• Current Infant, Child, and Adult CPR and First Aid certification.
• Completed MiRegistry coursework.
