About the Role:
The Learning Experience in Tega Cay, SC is looking for a passionate and nurturing experienced Preschool 2 Teacher to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years. Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, curriculum-based lesson plans for preschool-aged children
- Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Monitor and document children's developmental progress and milestones
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom setting
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support whole-child development
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare safety standards
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or classroom setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements for childcare professionals in South Carolina
- Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for early education

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
