The Learning Experience - Littleton is looking for an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher who can turn children's natural curiosity into meaningful opportunities to learn, explore, create, and grow.
You'll lead a Preschool classroom that balances purposeful learning with the joy and discovery that make early childhood education special.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create engaging experiences supporting literacy, math, science, language, creativity, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence, problem-solving, communication, and positive peer relationships
- Use positive guidance and consistent classroom routines
- Observe and document children's development
- Guide and support Assistant Teachers
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
- Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements
Qualifications
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Preschool Lead Teacher
- Professional Preschool or early childhood classroom experience required
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for early childhood education and children's development
