Childcare Bus Driver - Before & After School
The Learning Experience - Manassas City, VA
Pay: $16-$18 per hour, based on experience
Preferred Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 6:30 AM-9:30 AM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM

The Learning Experience - Manassas City is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Childcare Bus Driver to help transport children to and from school.

We're looking for an experienced driver who understands that safely transporting children requires reliability, patience, attention to detail, and a commitment to following established transportation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport children to and from local schools
  • Follow assigned routes and transportation schedules
  • Complete required vehicle and safety checks
  • Maintain accurate transportation and attendance records
  • Follow all child loading, unloading, and supervision procedures
  • Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
  • Communicate professionally with center leadership and families as needed
  • Follow all applicable transportation, licensing, and center requirements
  • Assist with center needs between routes as assigned
Qualifications

  • Previous professional driving experience required
  • Experience transporting children strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
  • Must meet all applicable Virginia requirements for transporting children
  • Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and professional
  • Ability to work a split morning and afternoon schedule preferred
