The Learning Experience - Newark is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Preschool Teacher who loves helping young children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our Preschool Teachers create engaging classroom experiences where children explore early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development through hands-on activities and meaningful interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily Preschool classroom activities and routines
Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Create engaging early literacy, math, science, art, music, and movement experiences
Encourage independence, problem-solving, communication, and positive social interactions
Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management
Observe and document children's developmental progress
Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and center leadership
Follow Delaware childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

TECE 1 and TECE 2 required
Previous professional childcare, preschool, or early childhood education experience required
Preschool classroom experience strongly preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Patient, dependable, organized, and passionate about early childhood education
Must meet applicable Delaware licensing requirements for the assigned position
