About the Role:
The Learning Experience #470 in Pickerington, OH is looking for a passionate and experienced Full-Time Childcare Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment for children
- Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities
- Maintain accurate classroom records, developmental assessments, and attendance logs
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive learning experience
- Ensure classroom safety and adhere to all licensing, health, and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early childhood education setting required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies
- Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Ohio childcare licensing requirements
- Energetic, nurturing, and team-oriented attitude

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
