Pay: $18 per hour 
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Toddlers are curious, energetic, and discovering something new every day!

The Learning Experience - Ramsey is seeking an enthusiastic Toddler Teacher for our Twaddler classroom, serving children approximately 2-2.5 years old.

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping young children develop independence, build friendships, strengthen communication skills, and discover the joy of learning through play.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily classroom activities and routines for children ages 2-2.5

  • Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum

  • Create engaging sensory, art, music, movement, and hands-on learning experiences

  • Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interactions

  • Support toileting, diapering, meals, rest time, and classroom transitions

  • Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management

  • Observe and document children's developmental progress

  • Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment

  • Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education experience preferred

  • Experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds strongly preferred

  • CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, patient approach

  • Dependable, energetic, and comfortable working with young children

  • Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
