About the Role:
The Learning Experience #313 in Missouri City, TX is looking for a passionate and energetic School-Age Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and lesson plans for school-age children
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom and during activities
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages social and emotional development
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities
- Assist children with homework and reinforce academic skills in a supportive setting
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support program goals and curriculum standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework or degree preferred
- Previous experience working with school-age children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning practices
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations
- Energetic, dependable, and genuinely passionate about working with children

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
