About the Role:
The Learning Experience in Bastrop, TX is looking for a passionate and adaptable Preschool Floater to join our team! In this dynamic role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple classrooms, supporting young learners during some of their most formative years. Responsibilities:
- Float between preschool classrooms to provide coverage and support as needed throughout the day
- Assist lead teachers in delivering age-appropriate, curriculum-based activities for early childhood learners
- Supervise and engage children during play, meals, rest, and transitions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment in accordance with licensing standards
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
- Support social-emotional development and positive behavior guidance techniques
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Must meet state licensing requirements, including background check clearance
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player with a positive attitude

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
