We are seeking a dependable, nurturing, and motivated Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children’s growth and development while helping maintain a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Maintain active supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, rest time, and transitions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Communicate professionally and positively with families and team members.
- Follow all childcare licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and center policies.
Qualifications
- A genuine interest in early childhood education and child development.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Dependability, patience, and a positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced classroom environment.
- Previous childcare experience preferred.
- Willingness to complete required training and meet applicable licensing requirements.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
