Full job description
- We require High School Diploma Must be 18+
- Associates or bachelor's degree in ECE preferred but not required
- compensation is based on experience and/or education and major
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices Strong written and communication skills CPR and First Aid or willing to obtain
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- Be Reliable and punctual
- Clean background check is REQUIRED (included FBI) through the Division of Child Development (qualifying letter)
- TB test and staff medical (within one year old)
- Staff heath assessment within one year old on NCDCDEE document
- Minimum of 2 work references
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation a must.

- must be prepared to complete the training courses the NC requires in addition to our company training sessions- upon hire and annually
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and families.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a comprehensive curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and progress.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, parents, and families.
