- Greet families, children, staff, and visitors with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Answer phones, emails, and inquiries in a timely and friendly manner.
- Manage child sign-in/sign-out procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
- Assist families with paperwork, enrollment forms, and center information.
- Support Directors with record keeping, filing, and communication.
- Maintain confidentiality of all child, family, and employee information.
- Help coordinate events, tours, and parent communications as needed.
- Serve as a “third key” holder, trusted to open/close the center when assigned.
- Support daily operations by assisting with staff coverage needs when possible.
- Monitor safety and security procedures, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the building.
- Follow licensing regulations and company policies at all times.
- 2+ years' experience in a childcare, school, or customer service environment preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, and childcare software a plus).
- Must meet state requirements for background checks and clearances.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to sit, stand, and move between classrooms/front desk areas.
- Work schedule would be evening shift for closing responsibilities 9-6 possibly 6:30.
