Minimum 5 years of experience as an Education Director in a licensed early childhood program

NYS Early Childhood Education Teaching Certification (per DOH requirements)
- Extensive knowledge of Article 47 regulations and NYC DOH compliance
- Strong understanding of enrollment management, marketing, and retention strategies
- Experience managing school financials, budgeting, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and retain a large team
- Exceptional parent communication and conflict resolution skills

You understand the importance of tours, follow-ups, retention strategies, and community outreach. You are proactive in building and maintaining full enrollment.
You can confidently manage day-to-day operations, licensing compliance, staffing, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities without constant oversight.
You are comfortable overseeing budgets, payroll considerations, revenue tracking, and cost management to ensure the school operates efficiently and profitably.
You build trust with families through transparent communication, professionalism, and responsiveness.
