- Lead by example and help create a positive, professional, and accountable center culture.
- Partner with the Center Director in managing daily center operations.
- Serve as a center leader when the Center Director is unavailable.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of teachers.
- Monitor classrooms for proper ratios, active supervision, health and safety, and licensing compliance.
- Coach teachers on curriculum implementation, classroom management, and quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and employees.
- Conduct center tours and follow up with prospective families to support enrollment growth.
- Help address parent questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Assist with staffing schedules, employee attendance, breaks, timekeeping, and labor management.
- Support family retention, enrollment, community marketing, and center events.
- Assist with employee documentation, enrollment records, billing follow-up, payroll/timekeeping review, and other administrative responsibilities.
- Help identify and resolve operational issues before they impact children, families, employees, or center performance.

1+ year of childcare leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
- Strong early childhood classroom experience.
- Knowledge of Indiana childcare licensing, health and safety, ratios, and supervision requirements.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable communicating with current and prospective families.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced childcare environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Education, or related field preferred.
- Must meet applicable Indiana childcare center leadership requirements.
- Dependable, professional, positive, and passionate about early childhood education.
